End Evictions, Seal Records

ORGANIZING TO PASS STATEWIDE LAW TO CREATE EVICTION SEALING

Evictions are a weapon landlords use to displace us, disrupt our lives, and erase our communities. We’re fighting for immediate protections to stop evictions, seal eviction records, and hold landlords accountable for the harm they cause. Evictions are not inevitable—they’re a choice, and we’re choosing to end them.

Our goal this legislative session is to:

  • Advance a bill to seal eviction records for tenants who were wrongfully evicted, had their cases dismissed, or have shown stability over time.

  • Educate lawmakers on the devastating impacts of public eviction records.

  • Mobilize tenants to share their stories and show the need for change.

Eviction shouldn’t be a life sentence. Together, we can push for a fairer system
