THIS IS A BI-WEEKLY, VIRTUAL MEETING.

Join the SC Tenant Union and our allies across South Carolina for bi-weekly campaign meetings to push forward the fight for the Eviction Record Sealing Bill H.4270. Together, we’re organizing to make eviction record sealing a reality for families across our state — because eviction shouldn’t be a life sentence.

These meetings are open to union members, community partners, organizations, and allies who want to take action to get this bill a subcommittee hearing when the legislative session opens on January 13th.

Each meeting will focus on moving the campaign forward through:

• Legislative updates and planning upcoming actions.

• Training and skill-building around contacting legislators, sharing testimony, and organizing locally.

• Coordinating events like postcard parties, press outreach, and the upcoming Legislative Week of Action in January.

• Story and testimony collection to lift up the real experiences behind this bill.

Whether you’re brand new to housing justice or a seasoned advocate, your voice matters in this campaign. Let’s build the power we need to win!
